About
I am, first and foremost, a follower and lover of Jesus.
As I’ve followed Him, I’ve found myself in interesting places - spiritually, emotionally and geographically. I am not ashamed to admit that I have a bent toward the marginalized, poor and powerless. I have my share of both scars and stories.
I am Irish-born, Africa-bound and downwardly mobile.
Currently I reside in the USA where I’m trying to figure out how to live with a stranger’s indifference and a kingdom worldview. I live somewhat counter-culturally within a multicultural family- a German husband, a Korean daughter, a German/Irish son & his Irish/Italian wife, and a Chinese daughter.
I’m also part of a wonderful community called Ancient Path and lead a non-profit called Worldview International - a global community of people who follow Jesus and act to incite compassionate action and ignite hope in a hurting world.
I spend several months of each year in Africa, and it’s still not enough…

Hi, Patt and Ken! I hope all is well with you. Love reading about your beautiful African life, and the stories of the people there.
Pat and I just watched Jonathan’s adoption video, and want to thank you again. (Neither of you have changed one bit!) Love for Jesus Christ keeps you young.
Just can’t thank you enough for all the love and support you guys gave us…the whole familygave us! Jen and Jacob were just precious. So small, so long ago…
Jon is in the Army, and is now deployed to the middle east. Almost 22 years old. We hope to welcome him home before Christmas. Boy, do I miss my son! Tommy will be a senior this year. He has been an adult for several years already. A mind of his own! Love you, and pray all is well with you and your family.
P.S….Happy Anniversary!!!
